1. Uvod

The SM8-WLTE is an intelligent 4G controller designed for remote monitoring and control of various equipment. It integrates 4G GSM relay functionality with temperature and humidity sensing capabilities, allowing for control via mobile application, SMS commands, or direct dialing. This device is suitable for a wide range of applications including agricultural automation (greenhouses, pumped irrigation), home appliance control, industrial applications, base station control, solar energy projects, and gate openers.

The 4G global control feature ensures that you can manage your equipment and receive alarm notifications regardless of distance or time.

Reminder: TH01 and TH02 sensors cannot be directly immersed in water. Only single temperature sensors can be placed in water.

4. Upute za postavljanje

4.2. Početno postavljanje

1. Umetnite SIM karticu: Locate the SIM card slot on the back of the controller. Insert a standard 4G SIM card into the slot. Ensure it is correctly oriented and fully seated.
2. Pričvrstite antenu: Connect the provided antenna to the SMA interface on the controller. Ensure it is securely tightened for optimal signal reception.
3. Priključite napajanje: Connect the DC12V/500mA power adapter to the 'Power' port on the back of the controller. Plug the adapter into a suitable power outlet.

5. Relay Wiring: The controller has 8 relay channels with Normally Open (NO), Normally Closed (NC), and Common (COM) terminals. Wire your devices (e.g., lights, motors, heaters) to the appropriate relay terminals based on your application's requirements. Ensure all wiring is done by a qualified professional and adheres to local electrical codes.
6. External Keyboard (Optional): If using an external keyboard for control, connect the keyboard plate to the designated 'keyboard' port on the back of the controller.

5.1. Metode kontrole

The SM8-WLTE controller offers multiple ways to control your connected devices:

5.1.1. Keyboard Control

If an external keyboard plate is connected, you can directly control the relays by pressing the corresponding buttons. The video demonstrates this functionality.

5.1.2. SMS Control

You can send specific SMS commands to the controller's SIM card number to control relays. Ensure your SIM card has an active plan for SMS services.

• Turn Relay ON: Poslati SN+PASSWORD+ON (npr. SN0000ON if password is 0000).
• Turn Relay OFF: Poslati SN+PASSWORD+OFF (npr. SN0000OFF).
• Control Specific COM: Poslati SN+PASSWORD+COM+FFFFFF (where FFFFFF represents the state of each relay, 1 for ON, 0 for OFF. E.g., SN0000COM10000000 to turn COM1 ON and others OFF).

After sending a command, you will receive a reply SMS confirming the action.

5.1.3. Dial Control

This method is available when the controller is in SMS mode. You can trigger relay actions by calling the controller's number.

1. Press the 'SET' key on the controller. The 'SIG' light will flash quickly.
2. Call the number of the controller's SIM card from your phone.
3. The controller will hang up the call after a short ring.
4. The controller output will switch (toggle) after the call is hung up. The 'SIG' light will return to normal.

5.1.4. Kontrola APP

The SM8-WLTE can be controlled via a dedicated mobile application, which offers a user-friendly interface for managing all functions. This method requires the controller to be in network mode.

• Temperature Control (Function 1): Set desired temperature values. When the detected temperature reaches the set value, the controller can send an alarm message and trigger a relay to operate (e.g., turn on a heater or cooler).
• Timing Control (Function 2): Schedule up to 24 groups of timing tasks. You can set daily or single-day schedules for turning devices ON/OFF (e.g., turn on a kettle at 8:00 AM).
• Humidity Control (Function 8): Similar to temperature control, set humidity thresholds. When detected humidity reaches the set value, an alarm is sent, and a relay can be triggered.
• Power Failure Alert (Function 3 - SM8-WLTE-EC only): Receive SMS, APP, or Email alerts in case of power failure or restoration.
• Email Pushing (Function 4): Configure the app to send email notifications when the temperature reaches a preset value.
• APP Pushing (Function 5): Receive direct notifications on your phone for device status changes and alerts.
• Short-time Trigger Switch (Function 7): Set a trigger time from 1 to 99 seconds for momentary actions, such as opening a garage door.

5.1.5. Web Control (Function 6)

The controller supports centralized control of equipment via a web browser on a PC. This allows for a broader overview and management of multiple devices.

7. Rješavanje problema

• No Signal (SIG light not normal): Check antenna connection. Ensure SIM card is properly inserted and active. Verify 4G/GSM network coverage in the area.
• Relays not responding to SMS/Dial/App:
• Confirm correct SMS commands and password.
• For dial control, ensure the 'SET' key was pressed and the 'SIG' light flashed before calling.
• For App control, verify the controller is in network mode and has a stable internet connection. Check app settings and ensure correct device pairing.
• Check relay wiring for proper connections.
• Temperature/Humidity readings incorrect or unavailable:
• Ensure the sensor is correctly connected to the sensor port.
• Verify the sensor type is compatible and functioning.
• If using TH01/TH02, ensure they are not immersed in water.
• Power Failure Alert not received (SM8-WLTE-EC only): Ensure the power failure alert function is enabled in the app settings and configured for SMS/App/Email notifications. Check network connectivity.
