First, disconnect power at the breaker. Typically, the receiver connects inline between the ceiling wiring and the fan. The Green wire connects to the bare/ground wire. The Red wire (AC IN L) goes to the Black or Red supply wire, and the White wire (AC IN N) goes to the White supply wire.
