TRP support FAQ

Česta pitanja o priručnicima, registraciji i podršci za ovu marku.

  • What type of brake fluid should I use in TRP hydraulic brakes?

Use only TRP or Tektro branded Mineral Oil. Do not use DOT-based fluids as they will damage the system and void the warranty.

  • When should I replace my TRP brake pads?

Brake pads should be replaced if they become contaminated with oil or if the total thickness (friction material plus backing plate) wears down to less than 2.2mm.

  • What is the warranty period for TRP products?

TRP hydraulic disc brakes are generally warranted against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of original retail purchase.

  • How do I bed in my new pads and rotors?

Accelerate to a moderate speed and apply brakes to slow down to walking speed without stopping. Repeat 15-20 times. Then accelerate to a higher speed and brake firmly 10-15 times. Allow brakes to cool before normal riding.
